Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the rules, expectations, and conditions for using the Premier Health & Safety Academy website and for enrolling in PHSA training programs. They are designed to clearly communicate how our programs operate and what is expected of students and website users. By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Educational Services
Premier Health & Safety Academy provides emergency medical services education and training programs approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Successful completion of a course indicates that program requirements have been met but does not guarantee certification, licensure, employment, or success on state or national examinations, as those outcomes depend on individual performance and external testing agencies.
Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes, labs, and clinical experiences, maintain a minimum academic average of 84 percent, complete all required coursework and skills assessments, and comply with PHSA policies regarding professionalism, conduct, safety, attendance, and regulatory requirements. Students are also responsible for meeting all health, vaccination, and background check requirements necessary for participation in EMS training.
Academic Probation and Remediation
Students who do not meet academic, attendance, or professional standards may be placed on academic probation. While on probation, students may be required to participate in remediation activities, additional coursework, counseling, or corrective action plans as determined by PHSA administration. Failure to demonstrate improvement during the probation period may result in further action in accordance with PHSA policies.
Health, Safety, and Assumption of Risk
EMS education involves hands-on skills training, physical activity, and clinical exposure that carry inherent risks. By enrolling in a PHSA program, students acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions and procedures. PHSA is not responsible for personal injury, medical expenses, or loss, theft, or damage of personal property that may occur during classroom, lab, or clinical activities.
Tuition and Payments
All tuition and fees must be paid according to published schedules and deadlines. PHSA does not store or process payment card information. All online payments are securely handled by third-party payment processors, including Stripe, and are subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Website Use
Use of the PHSA website must be lawful and respectful. Users may not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt website functionality, interfere with site security, or misuse website content or materials.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.
