Went through the medic program this past cycle. Can say without a doubt that it’s worth your time. The schedule is flexible enough to where you could have a full time job and still attend and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable in all their fields. The clinical sites, specifically metrohealth ER, will provide you with once in a lifetime opportunities and experiences that you won’t get with any other program. Having issues on specific topics? Don’t worry! The instructors are very helpful in providing a hand with tutoring and giving pointers. If you’re looking to continue your career in the EMS field, there’s no better place than PHSA.

I was a student and completed the EMT course through Premier. Overall, the experience was great. The instructors truly have your best interests in mind — whether you’re pursuing a career as an EMT or using it as a stepping stone into other careers, they prepare you extremely well. The labs were fun and helped me feel confident for state testing. They have great connections to fire departments, private ambulance services, etc., which gives you many options when it comes time for ride alongs. This course is a little longer than some accelerated programs, but the pace is what allows you to fully grasp the concepts, understand the material at a comfortable speed, and apply it in lab. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.

ACLS and PALS renewing are lower stress, and the ideal place to complete at Premier. Chris is a fantastic instructor for these AHA courses. It's definitely worth my time and effort to use this facility every two years.
