Zachary Madison

EMS Instructor

Zachary Madison is a Paramedic and EMS Instructor at Premier Health & Safety Academy, where he teaches both the EMT and Paramedic programs. As a proud member of the Academy’s first graduating Paramedic class, Zachary brings firsthand experience, enthusiasm, and a deep appreciation for the educational journey his students are undertaking. He takes great pride in meeting students where they are—helping them develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to thrive in emergency medicine. For Zachary, teaching is about giving back to the same program that helped shape his own career.

Originally from North Olmsted and now living in Wellington, Ohio, Zachary began his EMS career with Donald Martens & Sons Ambulance after earning his EMT certification from Polaris Career Center in 2016. He went on to complete his Paramedic training at Premier Health & Safety Academy in 2022. In early 2020, he had the unique opportunity to assist FEMA during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of a national emergency response effort—an experience that reinforced his commitment to serving others and responding with professionalism in high-pressure environments.

Zachary’s motivation comes from the challenges and intensity of the EMS field. He is driven by a desire to continually learn, adapt, and improve, both as a clinician and an educator. Outside of his work, Zachary enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking—especially experimenting with Indian curry recipes. Deeply connected to his roots, he also takes pride in coming from an eighth-generation farming family that continues to work the same land, a legacy that instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, and community.
