OVERVIEW
COURSE SUMMARY
This renewal option for current/expiring PALS Providers reviews the systematic pediatric assessment, respiratory and circulatory algorithms, rhythm identification, shock management, and post-resuscitation care. Video lectures are paired with infant/child manikin drills and scenario-based team simulations. After completing the written exam and practical “pediatric megacode,” participants leave re-certified under the latest AHA guidelines.
Course Requirements
Current or ≤ 60-day–expired PALS card
Pre-course Self-Assessment ≥ 70 % (printed)
Current BLS card
Pediatric vital-sign and drug-dose refresher completed (study guide provided)
Photo ID and tuition settled before class
Physical ability to kneel for infant/child CPR and participate in team simulations

Documented competency in pediatric high-quality CPR, airway & ventilation techniques, and defibrillation/synchronized cardioversion
