COURSE SUMMARY

This American Heart Association PALS Provider course (full course ≈ 10–13 hours; update ≈ 8–9 hours) uses video-driven instruction, high-fidelity infant/child manikins, and scenario-based team drills to reinforce a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, high-quality CPR, advanced airway management, shock and arrest algorithms, and effective leadership/communication. Content reflects the latest 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC and emphasizes early identification of respiratory failure or shock, rhythm recognition, and coordinated resuscitation in multidisciplinary teams.

Pre-course Self-Assessment ≥ 70 % (printed)
Basic ECG recognition and pediatric medication familiarity recommended
Government photo ID, immunization proof (if clinical labs), and paid tuition
Ability to perform CPR/airway skills on child and infant manikins
