COURSE SUMMARY
The EMT Refresher Course is designed for Emergency Medical Technicians who are renewing their certification or returning to the field. This course provides a complete review of airway management, trauma and medical care, CPR standards, patient assessment, and the latest Ohio EMS protocols. Students will participate in hands-on skill labs, scenario-based training, and guided review sessions to reinforce confidence and clinical decision-making.
PHSA’s instructors bring real-world EMS experience into the classroom, ensuring students stay current with evolving standards and best practices. This refresher meets the continuing education and renewal requirements for Ohio EMTs and is also ideal preparation for NREMT cognitive or psychomotor retesting.
