COURSE SUMMARY

In roughly 2 hours (instructor-led or blended), this AHA Heartsaver course covers scene safety, patient assessment, bleeding control, wound and burn care, shock management, allergic reactions, stroke recognition, and more. Practical stations and scenario drills focus on rapid, correct action with everyday supplies.

Course Requirements

  • No prerequisites; suitable for public/workplace responders

  • Government photo ID if course completion is for OSHA compliance

  • Ability to participate in hands-on wound care and splinting stations

  • Course fee paid in advance

  • AHA Heartsaver First Aid eCard, valid 2 years cpr.heart.org

  • OSHA-accepted first-aid certification

  • Documented competency in bleeding, burn & injury management
