OVERVIEW
COURSE SUMMARY
This foundational 3.5-hour program teaches healthcare providers and first-responders to quickly recognize life-threatening emergencies and deliver high-quality CPR, effective ventilations, and early defibrillation in line with the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Skills are reinforced through instructor-led demos, hands-on manikin practice, and team-based scenarios.
Course Requirements
No prior certification required
Government photo ID and course fee paid before class
Ability to kneel, bend, and perform continuous chest compressions on the floor
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for skills practice

AHA BLS Provider eCard (digital certificate), valid 2 years
4 – 4.5 CAPCE-approved continuing-education hours
